What Do We Know About Where They Lived?

The Streets of Belfast

The Newtownards Road, East Belfast used to be a hive of industry in the 60s.  Not so today, but the many shops that have closed down, now sport murals of the goods that once used to be sold in them.

In 1890, James Edward Titterington, son of James and Susan, was born at 12 Ardalaun Street, East Belfast. The Memorial Garden now commemorates the killing of 28 people on the 27th and 28th June, 1970.
