The Titteringtons of Northern Ireland

Linda started researching her family tree in about 2003.  Her father was a Titterington born in Belfast, the family coming from the town of Moira in County Down. She quickly became motivated by the need to prove or disprove the family myths that existed and to a large extent she has achieved this.  Pursuing the various threads or 'twigs' of her branch she has found absorbing and very time consuming.  Retirement from a lifetime of teaching enabled her to do this.

 

Her research brought her into  contact with many other researchers, and she particularly became interested in those researching the Titterington name in Northern Ireland.  She is keen to work with others to find any proof or clues that might link the various branches to each other.

 

Linda and her sister are the last Titteringtons of their particular branch.
